Interstate Welcomes Jeff Shellberg and Patrick Marble

Interstate Worldwide Relocation Services Welcomes Jeff Shellberg and
Patrick Marble to their Leadership Team.

Springfield, VA- June 27, 2011, Interstate Worldwide is pleased to announce that Jeff Shellberg and Patrick Marble have joined the Interstate leadership team. Effective June 2011, Jeff will assume the role of Vice President of General Manager Terminal Services and Patrick will serve as Vice President of Logistics Services.

Jeff most recently held the positions of Regional Vice President, General Manager of Denver and Colorado Springs as well as Vice President of Operations for Graebel Companies. In his role as a Regional Vice President and General Manger, Jeff was responsible for sales growth and operational excellence. In his role as Vice President of Operations for Graebel’s 42 service centers, he led Graebel’s fleet retention and recruiting efforts as well as ensuring that all branches performed to Graebel’s standards.

Prior to joining Interstate, Patrick held the position of Vice President of International for Daryl Flood, Inc. in Dallas. Patrick has held roles with increasing responsibility for SIRVA where he held the position of Director of International Procurement. He has worked within the International Moving Services Industry since 2000.

Jeff and Patrick will both hold pivotal roles within the company as they work to implement current initiatives and contribute to the future direction and growth of Interstate. Interstate welcomes Jeff and Patrick to the Interstate team and the Washington D.C. area.

Interstate Awarded SmartCEO’s Circle of Excellence Award

SPRINGFIELD, VA, June 15, 2011 – Interstate Worldwide Relocation Services is the proud recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of excellence in the family business presented by SmartCEO. Interstate President, Bud Morrissette, was honored and accepted the award on behalf of the firms’ 300 employees and the company’s founding Morrissette family. SmartCEO recognized ten leaders who, through their business acumen and character, are succeeding in their businesses to a level that most companies rarely achieve, the ceremony, was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

Mr. Morrissette Goes to Washington!

On Tuesday, June 13, 2011, J D Morrissette, testified before a House subcommittee hearing titled “Do Not Enter: How Proposed Hours of Service Trucking Rules are a Dead End for Small Businesses.”

Morrissette is President of Interstate Van Lines, a mid-sized household goods carrier and military approved transportation service provider based in Springfield, Virginia. JD has more than 20 years of experience in the specialized transportation industry. His testimony was shared on behalf of the American Moving and Storage Association and their 3200+ members.
